Harry Potter Mania! We went to the new Harry Potter movie last night with Jackie. I was at a slight disadvantage, as I haven't read this book yet. Very good movie & book 8 comes out soon. Jackie informed us she will be up at midnight waiting in line to get it! Funny.

Good News. I have been adopted. More on that later.

I heard from Trina in Arizona - who I sent my July package to. She loved it. I am so glad! I sent 3 sk of pale purple Jaeger yarn & the pattern for a shawlette. Sounds like it was perfect for her. In June I sent 3 skeins of a blue shiny cotton for a scarf, along with some hand made soap.

I need to post an updated Freddie picture. He is growing & so is his wool. Time to shear soon.

Disappointed...... I haven't rec'd a package from my No Sheep swap partner. This is the down side to swaps I guess. On the up side, I have had fun getting to know the partner I send to. Her name in Trina. She lives in Arizona & seems to love what I have sent. I have her July package ready to go out tomorrow.

Maybe someone will "adopt" me for the remainder of the swap. That is what the coordinator said in her e-mail. Unfortunately, I am not the only one who didn't rec'v anything. Sad, sad, sad!

On another high note, Kerry, Dad & I picked 5 ice cream buckets of strawberries today. Yummy.

Just for fun I joined the No sheep secret Swap! I need to send a skein to my pal in June & again in July. I am having fun deciding what to send & getting to know her. She lives in Arizona - what a change from MN - where I had snow on my deck this am!

I was at the Sheep Fest in Lake Elmo, MN and look who I brought home!

The purse exchange is over & I LOVE the purse I rec'd. It is shades of blue in a clutch style along with a mini coin purse (beaded after felting)... Very nice - along with some other goodies! Thanks Lori!

I won't be able to participate in the next one - as my upcoming weeks are uncertain. My mom is having more surgery to remove cancerous areas in her mouth. I am not sure what to expect with the recovery!

Stay Tuned..

How Exciting! I have been given the name of my exchange partner for the Knitted Purse/Bag Exchange. I am anxiously awaiting her responses on the questions I sent her.... I am going to a Dye Fest this weekend at a friend's house - we are going to dye wool yarn ALL DAY LONG!
